【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesbasicmethodologyusedinachievingsafetyofequipmentforintendeduseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.TheprovisionsspecifiedinthisEuropeanStandardareintendedforthedesigner.Italsospecifiesastrategyforstandardmakers.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheprocedureandinformationrequiredtoallowignitionriskassessmenttobecarriedoutforthedesignofequipmentorcomponent.ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesadviceforadecisiontobemadeforthecategorisationofequipmentbutdoesnotprovidemeanstoprovetheconformityofequipmentcategories.Inthisprocedurethefollowinginformationistobetakenintoaccount:a)Possibleoccurrenceofanexplosiveatmosphereinsidetheequipmentorcomponentorpenetratingtheequipmentorcomponentfromtheoutside(innormaloperationorduringmalfunctions)andtheamountofexplosiveatmosphereinvolvedleadingtopossibleexplosionimpactinsideoftheequipmentorcomponent;b)equipmentorcomponentssurroundedbyanexplosiveatmosphere(innormaloperationorduringmalfunctions);c)equipmentorcomponentswhollyorpartlysurroundedbyanexplosiveatmosphereconsideringalsoanyexplosiveatmosphereinconnection(innormaloperationorduringmalfunctions);d)presenceandlikelihood(effectiveness)ofignitionsources.Thefinalobjectiveisdesigningandmanufacturingequipmentorcomponentsintendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.Forthispurposeequipmentorcomponentsifnecessaryshouldbedesignedwithadequatepreventiveand/orprotectivemeasures.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesneitherspecificmethodsofanalysisassociatedwithignitionriskassessment,norspecificrequirementsforacategoryofequipment.Itdescribesthemethodologyofignitionriskassessment.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytoequipmentwithapotentiallyexplosiveatmosphereinsideunderoperatingconditions,andwithoutinterfacestoanexternalpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletoallcategoriesofequipmentreferredtoinEN13463-1.Thisignitionriskassessmentproceduredoesnotprecludetheconditionsprevailinginaninstallationwheretheequipmentorcomponentisputintooperationbyauser.NOTEFunctionalsafetyassessmentofprotectivesystemsiscoveredbyEN15233.
