【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversasphaltroofinginshingleform,composedofglassfeltorfeltsimpregnatedandcoatedonbothsideswithasphalt,andsurfacedontheweathersidewithmineralgranules.Thisspecificationisdesignedfortheevaluationofproductsasmanufactured.Thetestmethods,physicalrequirements,andminimummassesaretobemeasuredimmediatelyafterpackagingoratareasonabletime,asagreeduponbetweenbuyerandseller,aftermanufactureandbeforeinstallation.Physicalandperformancerequirementsafterapplicationandduringin-serviceuseoftheproductsdescribedhereinarebeyondthescopeofthismaterialspecification.1.2Shinglesmeetingthisspecificationareintendedtobeappliedwithaheadlapofnotlessthan51mm(2in.).1.3Theshinglesshallbesuppliedwithafactory-appliedself-sealingadhesiveorbedesignedtobelockedtogetherduringinstallationoftheshingles.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethoddescribedinthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
