【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversforced-convectionventilatedelectrically-heatedovens,operatingoverallorpartofthetemperaturerangefrom20Cabovetheambienttemperatureto500C,andusedforthermalenduranceevaluationofelectricalinsulatingmaterials.1.2ThespecificationrequirementsforTypeIovensarebasedonIECPublication216-4-1,andaretechnicallyidenticaltoit.TherequirementsforTypeIIovensareessentiallyidenticaltotherequirementsofSpecificationD2436.Thisspecificationandanassociatedtestmethod,D5374,havereplacedSpecificationD2436.1.3Whiletheovenscoveredbythisspecificationareintendedprimarilyforthermalenduranceevaluation,theycanalsobeusedwherevertheircharacteristicsmakethemsuitableforotherapplications.1.4Thisspecificationdoesnotaddresssafetyaspects.Ifitisanticipatedthatovencontentsorthelocationinwhichtheovenistobeinstalledmaycreateahazard,thepurchasershoulddetermineandspecifywhatadditionalrequirementsareneeded.
