【摘要】:ThisPartofBS1881specifiesamethodforthedeterminationofwaterabsorptionofconcretespecimenscoredfromastructureoraprecastcomponent.Themethodmayalsobeusedtodeterminethewaterabsorptionofconcretecastintoprismsorcylinderswherethesurfacetovolumeratiocanbecalculatedandwherenopointinthespecimenismorethan50mmfromafreesurface.Themeasuredwaterabsorptionofthespecimeniscorrectedtothatequivalenttoasurfacetovolumeratioofacore75mmlongwithadiameterof75mm.NOTEAbsorptionvaluesforcastspecimensarenormallyslightlylowerthanthoseforacorefromthesameconcretebutthedifferencecanbemoresignificantiftheaggregateisabsorbent.
